Edges
Edges
In this four-week series we’ll dive into the liminal regions of edges, thresholds and boundaries. Continuum, as described by Gary David, is a way of "learning on the edge of now," by following the intrinsic movements of the body, through dives and in daily life. Learning to give attention to the ways we approach these often salient transitional times supports growth, individually and collectively, coming to deeper understandings of ourselves and others through lived connections with the play of movements at the water’s edge. Together, through dialogue and dives, let’s explore these transformative and ever-changing waters.
“I have noticed many times in my life when this kind of moment occurs it seems to ‘light up’ and signal a ‘crossing.’ These moments become thresholds - invitations. I am here. Can you see me? This way. This way.” Emilie Conrad
Format: Delivered via Zoom. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement, and have a yoga mat and a couple of blankets handy. To support the creation of a 'container' for a Continuum practice please join the call from a quiet area where you can settle into a sacred space.
