The Soma - A Moving, Fluid Process
The Soma:
A Moving, Fluid Process
In this series we’ll explore the silent felt experiences of ‘the soma’ as a moving, fluid process - the place which all meaning begins. ‘Diving,’ we enter the underwater worlds of our inner oceans, leaving static images of the intellect, ‘dry land,’ and entering the watery and ever-changing realms of sensing, feeling and experiencing. Here we are a Presence, fully immersed in the flow of life as a participant rather than an outside observer. Through breath, sound and movement, discover sensation, the language of the soma, and bring new wetness to ‘life on land.’ Classes are interactive and provide opportunities for both dialogue and taking inquiries into a dive.
“Sensation is not just the messenger of pain, discomfort, and other emotions, but it is the link to an extraordinary aesthetic landscape that is our birthright.” Emilie Conrad
Format: Delivered via Zoom. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement, and have a yoga mat and a couple of blankets handy. To support the creation of a 'container' for a Continuum practice please join the call from a quiet area where you can settle into a sacred space.
