Presence
Continuum invites a deep dive into the meaning of presence — an opportunity to give attention to how we participate at the silent level of ‘the soma,’ as we become fully immersed in the stream of life, moving with the currents of our sensing, feeling and experiencing. Through the learning process and our spontaneous engagement with the living pulse of movement, we expand our capacity to be present within, to one another and the world around us. A dive often takes us ‘to the edge,’ within the safe ‘container’ of a continuum practice, to places we may not have been before and new ways of experiencing presence. Breath, sound, movement and sensation are offered as portals to enter the fluid presence of our watery beings. Classes are interactive and provide opportunities for dialogue and taking our inquiries into a dive.
“The fluid presence is, among many things, an atmospheric substance that supports and guides us via those gentle urgings that feel like a sweet knowing.” Emilie Conrad
Format: Delivered via Zoom. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement, and have a yoga mat and a couple of blankets handy. To support the creation of a 'container' for a Continuum practice please join the call from a quiet area where you can settle into a sacred space.
