Wonder
To dive in a Continuum setting is an invitation to disappear into movement and explore the underwater worlds of our watery beings. With a sense of wonder – new portals of discovery emerge and reveal fluid inner landscapes that lie often concealed beneath the dry surfaces of everyday “Life on Land.” The experience of wonder holds many meanings – to become interested/curious about what’s happening within, at a pre-linguistic level as a first order experience – as Emilie Conrad wrote, “We’re not here to get it done, we’re here to get inside!” To be wonder-ful beckons us to behold, to embody the very essence of anima, the feminine principle, that offers insight through our somatic intelligence for useful transformation, guiding how we live our lives in ways that are not only functional but aesthetically beautiful. Wonder calls us to an open gaze, “open attention,” an experience of the vastness of new horizons, and ever growing ways of making meaning. Gatherings are interactive with opportunities for dialogue and taking our inquiries into a dive.
“A dive is a process of wondering. Not wondering who, what, where, when, why…just a wonder…an aesthetic appreciation of silence.” Gary David
